This two-bedroom, two bathroom (100 sq.metre two floor) 18th century stone cottage / gîte sits in the peaceful hamlet of Les Bouilladoires, 4 kms. from the spectacular village of Gordes. The cottage adjoins the owner's house but has a completely separate entrance / parking and is not overlooked by them.
It is surrounded by large natural grounds planted with olive trees, bamboo and lavender. The swimming pool (10m x 5m), the large sunbathing terrace and the pool-house are shared with the owners, although they do try to respect the guest's tranquility.
The cottage is well-equipped and furnished in a rustic provençal style with an interesting collection of mainly contemporary art. There is an open fire-place in the sitting-room for the winter and the downstairs bathroom has a large walk-in shower.
Dogs are welcome, we have a Pyrenean sheep-dog called Lola who is very friendly and four cats.
Rentals start from Saturday (all year round) and Monday or Thursday off season
